About StayPutPDF

StayPutPDF is a set of PDF tools that run entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded — not to us, not to anyone.
Why StayPutPDF exists
Most online PDF tools work the same way: you upload a file, it goes to a company's servers, gets processed, then gets deleted — hopefully. For lawyers with privileged documents, healthcare teams with patient records and accountants with client accounts, that's a risk they shouldn't have to take.
StayPutPDF flips the model. No server upload. Ever. The work happens on your own computer or phone, using established open-source libraries.

Honest about limits
- Word to PDF keeps text, headings, lists, tables and images, but reflows the layout — exact headers, footers and fonts aren't kept.
- Excel to PDF turns every sheet into a clean table — no charts, images or cell colours.
- No PowerPoint support yet. We'd rather skip a tool than ship one that isn't reliable.
- Not a security product. Keeping files off servers removes one risk; it doesn't protect a device that's already compromised.
No watermarks, no file tracking
StayPutPDF never adds a watermark, on any plan. What you make is what you get.
We never see your files or their content. The free plan's page count is kept in your browser and isn't sent to us. Privacy policy
